I am a certified guidance counselor and educator. I taught at Upper Dublin High School for 6 years as a Psychology instructor. Currently, I have been hired to work in the district as their Classrooms for The Future Technology Coach. I coach Girls Basketball, co-sponsor the Mock Trial Club, sponsor the Psychology Club and am a Class Sponsor. I have been apart of the People to People program now for four years.
My Travel Experience
I have traveled with the P2P programs to the following destinations: Austria, Switzerland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia. Aside from P2P programs, I have traveled to Poland, the Czech Republic, Bermuda, Mexico and within a varitey of locations in the US. The chance to broaden our perpsectives, learn from others and about other cultures is extremely rewarding and my primary reason for traveling with this program.
My Hobbies and Interests
I have many interests depending on the season. In the summer and fall you can find me in the skies working on my aeronatuical certification. In the winter you can find me on the ski slopes of Maine! And on just any old day you can find me playing catch with my two dogs.
My Favorite People to People Moment
My favorite People to People moment took place in Australia when a student on our delegation overcame her fear of swimming in order to dive into -one of the wonders of the world- the Great Barrier Reaf!
